Strategy & Technology Practice

Where strategy becomes operational reality.

We design, build, and embed the data, optimisation, and applied AI systems your operation runs on — measured against the P&L.

What We Do

We advise and deliver across:

  • Strategy, Operating Models & Commercial Alignment
  • Data Architecture & Foundational Infrastructure
  • Applied Intelligence & Optimisation
  • M&A Readiness, Systems Integration & Value Creation

Our work spans transport, agriculture, logistics, property, and adjacent operational sectors.

We work directly with business leaders — the owner approaching a capital event, the operator whose margin hides in scheduling and utilisation.

The objective is measurable performance — not technical theatre.

Enterprise Value & Performance

Technology is not the objective. Performance is — commercial, operational, and felt by the customer.

We support organisations in:

  • Preparing for capital events and M&A
  • Structuring systems and data for diligence readiness
  • Targeting P&L optimisation and margin expansion
  • Improving throughput, utilisation, and capital efficiency
  • Lifting service quality and the customer experience

Optimisation is not new — and not always complex. We apply disciplined modelling and solver-based methods alongside modern analytics; proven mathematical frameworks remain powerful when aligned to commercial intent.

Old tools that work still matter.

Applied Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is not new — organisations were solving operational problems with it long before generative interfaces. We work across the full span — deterministic, probabilistic, and non-deterministic:

  • Deterministic modelling, rules engines, and structured logic
  • Machine learning, deep learning, and predictive modelling
  • Optimisation across scheduling, routing, and allocation
  • Applied AI embedded into operational workflows

We are deliberately model-agnostic: a change of model should be a configuration decision, not a rebuild. Specialist partners come in where the work demands it.

But the technology is rarely what fails. Most programs return nothingMIT, The GenAI Divide: State of AI in Business 2025 — despite US$30–40B of enterprise investment, 95% of organisations report zero return from GenAI pilots; the barrier is organisational learning, not model quality. because the organisation around them doesn’t change — incentives decide adoption before capability does. People embrace what makes them look capable, hide what makes them feel replaceable, and rarely volunteer the saving that costs their own team.

So we treat culture as part of the architecture: calibrated judgement where decisions carry weight, incentives that make a saving safe to surface, and protected room to learn. We know the failure rate — and we build for the other 5%.

Substance over novelty.

Our Approach

We embed directly. Single point of contact — strategy, architecture, and delivery carried by the same hands that answer for the outcome.

Operating in an applied fractional capacity means:

  • Embedded within your organisation, working alongside your people
  • Running the function independently where that serves you better
  • Managing delivery end to end — you stay focused on outcomes
  • Solutions tailored to organisational literacy, capability, and maturity

Technology should be usable. Insight should be accessible. Adoption should be achievable.

We build for consumption — not demonstration.

Data as Infrastructure

There is no AI strategy without a data strategy.

Advanced capability — automation and artificial intelligence included — creates durable value only when built on intentional data, systems, and operational design. Organisations investing in those foundations are seeing real returns. Those who haven’t are getting disappointing results — and the gap is no longer marginal.

We build the foundational elements that unlock value:

  • Structured data environments (warehouses, lakes, governed assets)
  • Practical data modelling aligned to decision-making
  • Foundational tooling designed for scale
  • Governance that enables trust and adoption

The value of data infrastructure is measured by who can access it, how quickly, and whether it drives action. Consumption is what matters.

Data quality is engineered, not assumed — and security is designed in, not bolted on. We work with established disciplines — DCAMEDM Association (formerly EDM Council), Data Management Capability Assessment Model — the global benchmark for data management maturity; v3.1 released 2026, benchmarked across 435+ organisations in 50+ countries., DAMA-DMBOK, and ISO 8000 for data; ISO 27001 for security — applied with proportion, not ceremony.

Leadership

Mark Telley

Founder & Principal

Mark operates in the overlap between commercial strategy and technical architecture.

With over a decade of cross-industry experience, he translates complex capability — including artificial intelligence, structured data environments, and optimisation modelling — into applied commercial advantage.

He studied artificial intelligence prior to its mainstream acceleration and has deployed data and systems strategy across transport, agriculture, logistics, and property environments.

Mark works as a systems integrator — aligning governance, data foundations, operating models, and financial objectives into cohesive execution. He operates in an applied fractional capacity, embedding directly within client organisations to bridge strategy and delivery.

Measured. Deliberate. Outcome-oriented.

Bianca Mangoni

Operations & Finance

Mark’s wife and the operational backbone of the practice. Every firm has its centre of gravity — Bianca is ours.

She oversees planning, resourcing, financial management, and structural discipline — ensuring clarity, accountability, and sustainable execution.

A family business in the truest sense. Australian-founded, operating across Australia and Asia-Pacific.

Christopher Telley

Non-Executive Director

Christopher provides independent oversight and strategic challenge.

With a background in design, marketing, and growth strategy — including postgraduate marketing study — he brings complementary commercial and market perspective to the practice.

Mark’s identical twin — their thinking mirrored yet distinct: systems and architecture balanced with strategic creativity and positioning.

Different angles. Shared discipline.

You won’t find client names or case studies here — our clients’ operations are their own, and discretion is part of the engagement. For results and references, start a conversation.
